On the day the lease is signed the tenant must furnish the following :

• A deposit of guarantee equivalent to two months rent (unless otherwise agreed) The deposit will be returned to the tenant within two months of the apartment being vacated, and subject to the inventory (law).
• First month's rent ( or pro-rata )
• Agency fees ( please see below )

Agency fees vary subject to the length of the rental period

• For a period less than 3 months, the agency fees are half a month's rent + TVA at 19,6 %
• For a period greater than 3 months, the agency fees are one month's rent + TVA at 19,6 %
• For a period of a year and more, the agency fees are 12 % of the annual rent + TVA at 19,6 %

Drafting of the lease agreement is included in the agency's fees.
